Rain Buffer, Ground Water, & Pond Recharge Kit
Keep Water Ways Clean & Protect Fisheries
Every thing you need to minimize storm surges and help keep our streams clean. Sewage plants can be overloaded by storm drain runoff and forced to discharge untreated water. Surges of surface runoff from storm sewers can also adversely affect water bodies, streams can be contaminated . This simple system captures heavy rain fall in the barrel and allows you to adjust the discharge rate to a rate the soil can absorb. A drip hose can be attached to water plants or discharge over a wider area and provide clean pond water.

The barrel filler provides fill and overflow through one opening. Insects and animals are kept from the water. Placing the barrel indoors is simplified with one fill/overflow connection.
Neutralize acid rain with ground limestone in the barrel.
This system will adapt to almost all rain gutters. (Cut out 3" diameter circle. If the hole fits over your existing outlet pipe the system will fit, otherwise Plastmo can supply custom adaptors.) Every thing arrives in the barrel ready for installation. All you need is a fine tooth saw and a screwdriver when filling through lid. When lid fittings are used barrel is placed on side.
