Roof Water Flusher captures first runoff and diverts to barrel or cistern with no moving parts.The pictured system captures the first rainfall from the roof with the upper Plastmo diverter to the white bucket.

When the bucket is full all water passes to the second diverter and passes to the barrel until the barrel is full, and then passes out the down pipe. The upper bucket slowly drains via a siphon tube to be ready for dirt from the next rain.The diagram to the right shows a 5 gallon bucket with a 1/4 inch galvinized pipe siphon tube. A screen on the siphon inlet is advisable as is a control valve on the siphon exit.Back to Plastmo diverter page.
